Dental Tourism...know the risks!

Dental health care providers are aware people are struggling to access dental care and may be tempted to go south or abroad for cut-price treatments.

There are excellent dental clinics in these countries. BUT ---be aware of the “hard sell” where there is pressure to make a quick decision with no discussion of possible complications or aftercare.

Clearly, a winning smile can give people a huge confidence boost, but avoid celebrities touting quick and cheap fixes abroad or in southern countries, which turn out to be anything but.

Treatment abroad or in southern countries, may not be as cheap as it seems if it involves repeat visits, complications, legal fees and corrective work.

Instead of gambling with your health the solution to lasting smiles may be simpler and cheaper closer to home.
