What can I do?

Brush your teeth twice a day and clean between them daily

Rinse daily with an antibacterial rinse​

​

Avoid using tobacco products

​

Eat a nutritious, well-balanced diet

​

Schedule regular check-ups and cleanings

While preventing gum disease might not fully prevent diseases such as heart disease and diabetes, there are significant links between gum disease and your overall health.
