Kissing CAN spread cavities (as well as gum disease and cold sores)!

HOWEVER.....

Although the bacteria responsible for cavities CAN be transmitted via kissing… the presence of this bad bacteria in your mouth does not AUTOMATICALLY mean you will get cavities!
